According to new figures, it is Iceland that has proportionally received the most immigrants from members of the EEA out of all the other Nordic countries in the last two years. The number of foreign workers in Iceland is two percent of the total population.

Norway has received the most immigrants when looking at total figures, with 42 thousand people arriving there in the same period of time, followed by Sweden at ten thousand, Denmark with ten thousand, Iceland with 5,800 and Finland just under Iceland.

Most of the immigrants to Iceland are from Poland.
