Water for Africa 3. nóvember 2006 13:16 Children in Malawi Icelandic children collect money for three nations in Africa. Children from all over the country being confirmed this year will walk from house to house to collect money for water in three African countries. The Icelandic Church Aid is organizing the collection and the children have received education on the situation of poor children in Mozambique, Malawi and Uganda. This is the eighth collection, last year the children collected almost 7 million kronur. The Icelandic Church Aid states that this amount is enough to give 56.000 people water for the future. The collection begins at 5.30 on Monday night and will be over at 9.00 pm.
