Collective Bargaining Agreement Reached

A new labour contract was signed at nine o'clock this morning regarding employees of the Regional Office of Disabled Peoples' Workers. Officials for the workers expressed satisfaction that the new contract provides what they consider to be a long overdue wage increase. Ásta Knútsen, chairman of the developmental therapists, also expressed satisfaction with the wage increase but said that there is still a ways to go before they can begin their work in full.
