The Icelandic band, Of Monsters and Men, are back and have released the first single from their second album, Beneath the Skin, due to be released June 9th. The single, „Crystals“, was made available yesterday. The video features Icelandic actor Sigurður Sigurjónsson singing along to the song. In the chorus, the group sings "Cover your crystal eyes and let your colors and blend with mine", a line likely to be sung at music festivals come summer, much like was the case with the band‘s songs from its first album My Head Is an Animal from 2011. My Head is an Animal sold in large amounts with popular tracks like Little Talks, King and Lionheart and Dirty Paws. The band spent last year in Los Angeles and in Iceland recording the album with producer Rick Costey. Costly has previously worked with bands including Muse, Foster The People and Death Cab For Cutie. Beneath the Skin is released through Record Records and includes eleven tracks: 1. Crystals 2. Human 3. Hunger 4. Wolves Without Teeth 5. Empire 6. Slow Life 7. Organs 8. Black Water 9. Thousand Eyes 10. I Of The Storm 11.
